Grand Theft Auto VI releases on November 19, 2026. Until then, players are already looking for guides, cheats, tips and walkthroughs. This page aims to gather, in one place, everything Rockstar has officially confirmed and what can reasonably be expected, without inventing false information. Each section cites its sources and distinguishes facts from predictions.
CHEAT CODES — EXPECTED
No GTA 6 cheat codes are confirmed today. However, the series has included cheats in every main entry since 1997. Based on the mechanics visible in trailers, the expected categories are: health, weapons, vehicles, police and weather.
Health & armor
Max health and invincibility cheats are a series staple. They are likely to return via controller combinations on PS5/Xbox and keyboard keywords on PC.
Weapons & ammo
A cheat giving all weapons and infinite ammo is almost certain, given the 18+ weapons already confirmed in official screenshots.
Vehicles & movement
Vehicle spawn, super jump and moon gravity are expected. Flying or amphibious vehicles may also return with Leonida's marine map.
Police & world
Wanted-level management and weather control will be useful in Leonida's open world, especially with its dynamic storms and flooding.

GAMEPLAY & TIPS
Official trailers, screenshots and the Netflix 'An Extended Look' showcase have revealed several mechanics: limited weapon satchel, duo of protagonists, Heat system, Focus, Waink app and deep customization.
Limited weapon satchel
Unlike GTA V, GTA 6 limits the number of weapons you can carry. Prepare loadouts in your vehicle trunk before each mission.
Jason & Lucia, two styles
Jason and Lucia Caminos are the two playable protagonists. Their romantic/criminal partnership and open-world switch will be at the heart of gameplay.
Heat & Focus system
Police no longer appear automatically: they must be alerted by witnesses. Players manage evidence (clothes, appearance, weapon, vehicle, CCTV). Focus mode slows time and indicates lethal or incapacitating zones.
Land, sea & air exploration
Leonida includes city, swamps, mountains and coastlines. Fan boats, kayaks, scooters, jet skis, seaplanes and submarines will let you explore every corner.
Vehicle theft & Waink
The Waink app scans vehicles (value, security, tracker, required tool). Theft uses slim jim, cloning or hotwiring. Pay 'n' Spray and vehicle trunks return.
MONEY & ECONOMY
GTA 6 should bring back classic series income sources — heists, businesses and side activities — with a deeper economy inspired by RDR2's mechanics.
Story heists
Heist missions will remain the most lucrative source of income, with multiple possible approaches (stealth, aggressive, smart).
Businesses & passive income
Properties, nightclubs, garages and other businesses should generate regular income once acquired and managed.
Fencing stolen goods
A more developed system of stolen loot (jewelry, equipment) and fences seems likely, with specific locations to sell goods.
Side activities
Street races, hunting, fishing, deliveries and NPC missions will supplement income while revealing the map.

SECRETS & EASTER EGGS
Official trailers, screenshots and the official showcase contain confirmed references and clues. Here we distinguish visible facts from community theories.
Vice City references
Neon style, signs and musical atmosphere recall GTA: Vice City (2002). The Voodoo Lounge and several graffiti are already visible in captures.
Vercetti Estate
The showcase and screenshots suggest a nod to Tommy Vercetti's mansion, the Vercetti Estate — a major Easter egg for series fans.
Red Dead Redemption links
The Duke Arms weapon brand echoes Dutch van der Linde. The wildlife and hunting system also recalls RDR2.
Leonida mysteries
Alligators, underwater wrecks, Mount Kalaga, Grassrivers swamps: several visual elements suggest secrets to be discovered after release.
Speargun & exploration
The special Speargun weapon is confirmed for underwater exploration, opening the way to hidden zones and items.
STORY & MISSIONS
GTA 6's story revolves around Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style criminal duo. Rockstar has described the game as its biggest narrative evolution, but the exact mission count remains unknown.
A duo of protagonists
Both Jason and Lucia will be playable. Their romantic/criminal relationship drives the plot.
Chapter structure
Leaks and analysis suggest a chapter structure, comparable to RDR2, with main missions and side activities integrated into the open world.
Heists and choices
Heist missions will offer multiple approaches. The choice of crew and method will impact the outcome and payout.
